So sorry. The free Challenging Behaviour Masterclass is closed. It was available for a few weeks, and reached thousands of people and their animals across the globe!

Here’s what some previous students have said about this free training:

  • Ann Marie: Brilliant first lesson ❤️
  • Sandy: Video 1 was incredibly relevant to me.
  • Noortje: Thank you for this first video! I enjoyed it very much and laughed out loud a couple of times. It was like you were in my living room!
  • Deb: Part one is 100% Karolina W. Clear, clever, and spot on.
  • Katia: So glad you didn’t follow your other calling as a singer. Not that I wouldn’t prefer to listen to you than most modern vocal artists, but your knowledge of animal behaviour is totally unique and priceless. Thank you for sharing your masterclass. ❤️
  • Holly: Your teaching style is brilliant […] I love this material and I can’t wait for the next video. Thanks!
  • Noa: I want to thank you again – this time for helping me hone the way I teach, and giving me new ideas on how to make students think.
  • Sofia: OMG I’m even more of a nerd now! I am working in human psychology and I knew almost all of the things you´ve said but from a human perspective. Now I understand it from another perspective. Thank you! You are so good at teaching!
  • Dale: Thanks immensely for sharing these informative and VERY entertaining (your voice is rockin!!) videos! It’s such a pleasure to “see” you again!
  • Angela: Thank you, lots of penny drop moments in this third video. Sometimes you instinctively do something without really knowing why!
  • Greg: Your 3rd video has help me to find the nuance in reward value (for them with DRA / DRI) and has me tweaking this for a better outcome for us both.
  • Angela: I’ve watched all 3 videos 4 times.

Don’t worry, I will give these free trainings about how we can best prevent, reduce or eliminate unwanted behaviour once a year – you can always attend the next one!

  2. Sounds very interesting. We’ve been working on reactivity and motion triggers for some time, but maybe these videos will help us recognise whether we have missed some aspect that we should work on more.

    1. Let us know if they do! – or if you have some other tweak that isn’t mentioned in the Masterclass! 🙂

  3. I live in Sweden and since 9 month I have a replaced small pincer, soon 8 years old. Now we can meet peeple without any problems, but sounds and dogmeetings are still a big problem. I am looking forward to learn more, so can you please sig me in?

  5. I have a behavior vet and behavior trainer. My dog is an anxiety dog. She takes meds and we are 2 years in. We do clicker training. The house has become her safe space. She cannot see another dog and reacts to sounds of dogs. She has improved and is showing her affection and love for us. I think we will get there

  10. We (me and my 4 dogs, all girls) struggle with reactivity towards
dogs, sometimes people. I tried the activate seeking/play way, but
failed. There is no evidence for pain, all 4 are active agility
players, do see the Physiotherapist on regular basis and are health
checked, because I wanted to rule out pain. Their diet is balanced,
mayby slitghly to high in meat because of their preferences in treats
for Training the reactivity issues. They sleep their roundabout 18
    Hours a day…
Edit the agility thing: with this agility dogs really rarely occur
issues…BUT my girls can find the one Visitors Dog among the 300 dogs
in Competition (!!) and start growling and lungluing towards that one.
So we are really screwed in everday life whilst ok in Competition…
    Best Regards,
Jenny and the dogs (3 Chinese Cresteds and a Sheltie)

    1. Hi Jenny, one thing that comes to mind when reading through your post is looking at ways to reduce arousal. Perhaps explore that their quality of sleep is good for all of them, and I would also consider some type of Nose work; sniffing has been shown to reduce heart rate, and if they enjoy touch I’d also explore T-touch or some other tactile interaction to bring down overall arousal. For reactivity I would also recommend to explore BAT https://grishastewart.com/bat-overview/ 🙂

      1. Hi Karolina,
I tried to make BAT work but failed. How many Times a day a sniff game ore a calming TT would be needed do make a diffrence?
        Thanks for your insight, Jenny

        1. I don’t work hands on with animals so I have no good answer for you based on practical experience, Jenny. But also, I’d say it probably depends. On the animal, its learning history and quirks, on the context. Changing mood states is typically not a quick fix so I would expect it to take some time.

One way to know whether what you’re doing is making a difference is to start collecting some basic data. Every day, score or rate her overall level of arousal and the interventions you tried. After a couple of weeks you should be able to see patterns emerge as to what works best for your particular situation. Best of luck!

          1. Thank you, that makes sense. I grew impatient some time ago… Basic data is a very good rimender, thank you for that advice. Will go for it…
            Jenny
