The foundations of Animal Training

Sorry, access to this free training has expired.

The Masterclass was a success – here’s what people had to say about it:

  • Angela: This course is GOOD!! Do it!
  • Mariette: I love learning and this is the first video series I have encountered that really grasped my attention the entire time!
  • Colleen: I feel inspired by your masterclass and feel as if, finally, I have encountered a course in which the underlying emotional needs of animals are being addressed and understood as having a fundamental impact on the behaviors they manifest!
  • Elize: I just listened to your 1st video, and will probably listen numerous times before video 2!! So much insightful info already…
  • Monika: The knowledge that you share and also the way you share it (!) is soooo helpful.
  • Catrine: you are a wonderful teacher and my brain starts to “pop” when you are explaining things through a scientists eyes but so ordinary people like me understands!
  • Christine: I have done several of your classes and I always learn so much! This one was particularly interesting especially about the timing of luring and cueing.
  • Kirsten: These videos are exceptionally good.
  • Emmie:  Insightful, science-based and full of practical takeaways.
  • Ute: You are indeed a master teacher. Your explanations are wonderful.
  • Rene: What blew my mind was a change of perspective: People in the training world are mostly familiar with ABC (antecedent – behaviour – consequence), which is a very good theoretical approach to analysis. But Predictors-Actions, now that is an animal-centric way of looking at the same thing and that, I adore. It is going to take me months to let that percolate in my brain box. And the comment section is invaluable.
  • Silja: I just want to thank you. I have been trying to nudge my neighbors to train their dog in a more positive way. I have lent them some of my books, but what made the biggest impact was your free masterclasses. They loved them, and have now signed up for your new course. I couldn’t be more happy, so thank you so very much for your way of teaching so everyone understands and want to learn more.
  • Nicolette: I can’t thank you enough for your inspiring and motivating, brilliant Masterclass – this is one of the best animal training courses I have completed because for me, your delivery is so engaging and refreshing and motivating, and the content is relevant and provides learnings combined with immediate application. WOW! You’re one in a zillion, together with the late Jane Goodall, that’s for sure!

The Masterclass will be back in 2026!

Sorry I unsubscribed by mistake.
looking forward to more learning as my dog has trouble with focus when out & about

Hi Andra, you’re not unsubscribed, as far as I can tell. You may have opted out of seeing more information about the Masterclass, I can’t do anything about that unfortunately – but if you just subscribe to the Masterclass on this page you’ll be all set! 🙂

I’ve added you to the Masterclass, Jenny! 🙂

All the best, //Karolina

Hi Deanna, you’re in! Let me know if you don’t get the welcome message! 🙂

I have two girls, one is more calm, the other one a hooligan, but more obedient. I’m so looking forward to your masterclass to tweak those small behaviours that are a problem.

Dear Karolina. I was just thinking the other day “When is Karolina’s next Masterclass?” …And here it is YAY! I am such a big fan of your work and your generosity in sharing your thoughts and perspective on all things to do with animals and their welfare is greatly appreciated. I always come away from your presentations full of enthusiasm – and renewed motivation to do the best I can for animals in my care. Thank you! I’m looking forward to hearing your rendition of the cat duet.
